I was quite surprise when I saw an interesting Mulberry's ad in one site, featuring Mulberry's Summer 2012 collection showing a model wear a "covered" outfit for Summer season..
One thing that surprised me is that it's very rare for a "western" clothing line to design and style up their models in covered style, especially for Spring/Summer season which usually it is the time to wear "minimum" outfits..
That thought.. made me visited Mulberry's site, and took a look around for a while checking out their 'This Season's Collection' (SS12).

And... do you know what I found?
Surprisingly, there are lots of hijab-friendly clothing for this Spring and Summer season! Especially, if you can mix-and-match the pieces well, it would be a perfect Spring/Summer outfit! The pieces also look comfortable to wear...
Here are some of my favorites:
Long high-neck dress |
matched with 'mini biker' blazer and a 'Teddy mini bag'. |
Maxi skirt in wheat field tulle |
combined with a painted fringe scarf (really love this scarf ^_^ ). |
Tonal stripe scarf in multicolour cashmere |
Collared biker lambskin jacket |
Long tube dress in multicolour airbrush animal print silk |
The collection is in a wide range of colours, from soft pastel colours, earth-tones, black-and-white, to bright yellow, all in fabulous designs.
I am lusting over them.. ;) Eventhough they might be not affordable for mostly of us, but this can give you an insight that Spring/Summer can be a "covered" season, too :)

and get inspired!
